This includes the development, engineering, construction, operation and maintenance of renewable power plants -mainly wind and photovoltaic technologies-, energy sales and management and marketing, energy services, self-consumption, electric mobility and new technologies such as storage and green hydrogen. ACCIONA Energía is governed by the most demanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.

Job Description

ACCIONA Energia is building its largest ever solar farm in Australia, the Aldoga Solar Farm near Gladstone in Queensland, with a total capacity of 445 MWp. The project will boost the Queensland government's decarbonisation strategy, mobilising total investments of AU$500 million. Construction is expected to commence in late 2023 with the solar farm scheduled to be fully operational by 2026.

There are several roles coming up in 2023 to join the ACCIONA Energía project team.

Required Skills and Competencies

To thrive and succeed at ACCIONA, you will need the following profile:-

Solar farm experience (Australian experience preferred) or a passion for renewables
Experience working in a construction setting or a desire to develop a career in construction;
Professional qualifications and relevant licenses, where relevant to your role;
Good communication skills and a professional attitude;
A team player who takes pride in your work;
Current driver’s licence;
Able to work on a project site in a regional location.
