Description & Requirements
Our Maintenance and Industrial Services division specialises in the planning, management and execution of maintenance, shutdowns and sustaining capital works. Our delivery of high-quality work within the oil and gas sector has earnt us a solid reputation and enviable relationships with some of the industry’s leading operators.
We currently have an EXPRESSION OF INTEREST for a highly motivated Planner/Scheduler to join our VIC Operations team, with both onshore and offshore opportunities available on a long term oil and gas contract.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide concise information and advice relating to planning, scheduling and project management support
- Review planning and scheduling documentation and identify ambiguities, risks and key issues to be considered
- Assist the Project Manager in compiling major project plans and execution schedules on behalf of the Project
- Plans and/or schedules other individuals or resources to meet project requirements
- Ensure that appropriate planning and scheduling techniques and systems are implemented to meet the projects needs
- Handle enquires and provide information and advice to team members regarding planning and scheduling
- Assist with the set-up and management of the project costs, budgets, claims and forecasts

- Similar experience as a maintenance scheduler/planner within the resources sector
- Must be proficient and able to use Primavera P6 for Planning and Scheduling
- Oil and Gas/Power station planning desirable
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to foster interpersonal relationships across all levels
- Proficient user of MS Office Suite
- Proof of right to work in Australia
