About the Role
Position: Contract Financial Coach
Location: Fully remote - work from anywhere in Australia
Schedule: Part-time with flexible hours between 8am – 7pm to suit your lifestyle & other work commitments
Start Date: ASAP
As a Financial Coach with My Money Circle, you’ll provide personalized financial guidance and support to our clients via video conferencing sessions. You’ll help them develop actionable plans, build better financial habits, and achieve their financial goals using our proprietary financial coaching platform. You’ll have the opportunity to work independently while being part of a collaborative and supportive team that values innovation, creativity, helping others and work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one financial coaching sessions to clients, focusing on areas such as budgeting, debt management, savings strategies, and financial goal setting.
• Develop tailored financial wellbeing plans and action steps based on client needs and objectives.
• Utilize our innovative digital tools and resources to enhance the coaching experience, helping people understand their money & finances better.
• Maintain detailed client records and provide progress updates.
• Collaborate with the My Money Circle team on employee engagement and coaching practices.
• Join us sometimes for live client events at their offices or at conferences/HR summits, engaging directly with employees and promoting financial well-being initiatives.

Key Skills & Experience
We’re looking for a dedicated Financial Coach with the following qualifications:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a financial planner/advisor
• Qualifications recognized by ASIC as meeting professional standards for financial advisers.
• Strong understanding of personal finance principles, including superannuation, cash flow management, investment basics, and debt management.
• Certified Money Coach qualifications are desirable but not necessary
• Proven ability to work independently, comfortable working autonomously.
• Comfortable with technology and able to use various digital tools and platforms.

• Empathy and Listening: You excel in understanding client concerns and can build trust through effective communication.
• Adaptability: You thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment and are comfortable adjusting to new processes and tools.
• Problem-Solving: You have a knack for developing creative solutions to financial challenges.
• Motivational: You are passionate about helping clients succeed and can inspire and encourage positive financial behaviours.
