We are currently looking for a casual staff in our fruit and veg market.
The role requires you to carry boxes weighing approx 10-15kg each box. Please you are able bodied to fulfil this role.
A typical day would be to come to collect the van, drive to my wholesaler to pick up the fruit/veg, then drive to a pastry shop and pick up pastries. After this you will go to the first market spot and set up the market (takes approx 40mins) then sell and serve the customers (approx 1hr), then pack away the market (approx 40mins). Then you will drive to another market spot (approx 30mins) and follow the previous steps. Finally you will do the same process again at one more market spot. This means you will operate in 3 different market spots within the day. The day is 11 hours per week and is for both Wednesday and thursday. so a total of 22hrs.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Provide excellent customer service and address needs of customers
· Upsell and chat with customers to build relationship between customer and our business
· Ensure fresh and appealing displays by keeping baskets and tables clean and well stocked
· Maintain accurate department signage and pricing
· The position involves picking up boxes, setting up foldable tables and restocking baskets. So this would suit a fit and able person.
· Drive between market sites and set up and packup the market in a set time.
The position is for 2days a week. Need to be available on wednesday annd thursdat and start time is 0630am and work till 530pm. Pay is $30/hr

· Ability to work on your own
· Fit and able to pick up boxes and crates.
