Job Summary:
Holiday Haven Swan Lake is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds and Amenities Staff Member to join our team on a casual basis.
This role is essential in ensuring that our park remains clean, safe, and welcoming for all guests.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of amenities, grounds, and facilities across the property, including camp kitchens, BBQ areas, and general park upkeep.
Availability on weekends, school holidays, and public holidays is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in all park amenities, including restrooms, showers, and the camp kitchen.
• BBQ and Common Area Maintenance: Regularly clean and check BBQs, picnic areas, and common spaces to ensure they are safe and functional.
• Waste Management: Empty bins around the park and ensure proper waste disposal practices.
• Housekeeping Support: Assist with the housekeeping team as needed, ensuring all accommodation areas are clean and guest ready.
• Groundskeeping: Mow lawns, trim hedges, water plants, and maintain garden beds to keep park grounds neat and attractive.
• General Maintenance: Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks, including basic plumbing, to keep facilities in top condition.
• Guest Support: Respond to guest inquiries in a friendly and helpful manner.

Requirements:

• Experience in groundskeeping, cleaning, or maintenance roles (preferred but not essential).
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and working outdoors.
• Basic understanding of plumbing, general repairs, and equipment maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, school holidays, and public holidays, is required.
