Job Summary
Our client is seeking skilled diesel mechanics to join their expanding team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing diesel engines and vehicles.
Duties
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines
- Use power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment for repairs
- Conduct electrical system repairs
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks as needed
Requirements
- Must have relevant trade qualifications.
- At least 3 years of professional experience servicing Volvo and/or Scania prime movers
- Good command of the English language.
- Committed to safe work practices
- Experience in equipment repair and maintenance
- Proficiency in soldering and welding
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Competence in using power tools and hand tools
- Capability to perform heavy lifting tasks
- Knowledge of electrical systems
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $55,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
