Carter Sampson are on an exciting journey of growth and as such, a rare opportunity exists to join the Campsie team as a Heavy Engineering Workshop Manager. The ideal candidate will have proven success in a similar role with leadership experience, mining & dealership experience, and exceptional customer service.
Key aspects of the role include:

• Ensuring quality standards across the department.
• Managing the WHS/OHS procedures of the workshop whilst carrying out regular audits.
• Ensuring that quality work is completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Continued development of a skilled group of personnel working as a team to achieve outputs.
• Providing accurate quotes to customers.
• Producing Manufacturer’s Data Reports (MDR’s) and other supporting materials as required.
• Actively seeking out ideas for continuous improvement.

To be successful you will ideally have:

• Relevant Trade Qualification - Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Fitter/BMW/Fabrication Trade
• Experience in Supervising workshop operations
• Well-developed communication and leadership skills
• Reliability in planning, reporting, communicating and ensuring compliance with internal and legislative commitments and obligations
• The demonstrated ability to lead in the area of Health and Safety

Pay: $68,802.29 – $134,810.21 per year
