Housekeeper / House Manager – Byron Bay, NSW
We are a busy household located in beautiful Byron Bay, seeking a reliable and experienced Housekeeper/House Manager to join our family 5 days per week. You will be responsible for maintaining our 4-bedroom home and ensuring that day-to-day household operations run smoothly. We are a household of two adults, two teenagers, and two friendly dogs, so experience with pets and families is essential.
Key Responsibilities:

• General daily cleaning and tidying of the home, including deeper cleans 1x each week
• Laundry and folding 1-2x each week as needed
• Changing and washing bed linens for 4 bedrooms 1x weekly
• Walking, feeding and caring for our two dogs daily
• Loading and unloading the dishwasher daily
• Grocery shopping
• Healthy dinner preparation for the family 5 nights per week
• Taking out recycling and garbage as needed
• Keeping household supplies stocked and organized
• Watering of household plants as needed
• General household management and ensuring the home is well-maintained
• Available to house-sit and dog-sit periodically while we are travelling

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential
• Ability to cook healthy and nutritious meals (we have really high standards on food quality, we will tell you everything you need to know and simply ask that you stick to it)
• Comfortable working around pets and teenagers
• High attention to detail and ability to manage time efficiently
• Strong organizational skills and a proactive approach to household management
• Driver’s license/access to a working vehicle preferred for grocery shopping and errands

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, approximately 25-30 hours per week. Some flexibility in start/end times.
Salary:
AUD $30-$42 per hour, depending on experience.
