Injection Moulding Operator

AK Reels is currently seeking a machine operator/assembler/ die setter for work within the plastics manufacturing industry. We are looking for an enthusiastic experienced worker for our Thomastown factory.
Working within a GMP environment you would be required to run our plastics machines workshop and oversee the assembly of products within a fast-paced environment. Quality checking products is also required tasks.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have years of experience of working within a plastic injection moulding production environment
- Be physically fit and capable of lifting up to 20kgs
- Have good time management skills
- Die setting experience and machine operation skills essential
- In house advancement opportunities.
- Have excellent mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail
- Demonstrate the ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions
- Have required PPE - steel capped boots and high visibility clothing
- Have a valid driver's licence and own transport
- Have a valid forklift license.
- Be available to work Monday - Friday ongoing
- Must have team leadership skills
- Those with 15 years of production experience or more preferred.

Pay: $47.00 – $58.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
