Key responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of audit assignments for a diverse range of clients.
  
• Conduct substantive testing of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
  
• Prepare working papers and assist in documenting audit findings.
  
• Collaborate with senior auditors and managers to ensure audit procedures are performed efficiently.
  
• Maintain clear and professional communication with clients.
  
• Assist in the preparation of audit reports and financial statements.
  
• Stay updated on Australian Auditing Standards (ASA) and accounting principles.

Eligibility requirements

• Have successfully completed or nearly completed a commerce or business degree, preferably with a major in Accounting, Finance, or a related field in Australia .
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
  
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  
• Eagerness to learn and develop within the auditing profession.
  
• Prior work experience or internships in accounting/audit (desirable but not essential).
