Who is Modu Korean?
Modu Korean is the first ever online Korean language education provider purely for K-Pop fans and we pride ourselves on being the most engaging and fun way to learn Korean.
Since our launch in 2022, we are now the largest community of BTS Armys learning Korean together, with over 160 students across Australia, USA, New Zealand, UK, the Netherlands, Singapore and more!
Focusing on conversational Korean language and everyday Korean culture, we are a one-stop shop to those who are committed to learning Korean.

Due to our exponential growth, we are now looking for our next Korean teacher to join the Modu Team!
What will you do?
As a Modu Korean Teacher, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Teaching group classes online with approx. 5-15 students in each class,
• Teach 1on1 and 2on1 private tutoring,
• Using the Modu methods and techniques, teach students:
• Reading and writing Hangeul
• Grammar, sentence structures and particles
• Pronunciation techniques
• Cultural nuances
• Build a personal relationship with all students through messenger throughout the week, answering questions when needed and providing consistent encouragement to students

Who are you?
To be considered for this role, you must:

• Completion of tertiary education in any field, bachelor’s or above.
• Be a native-level speaker of English AND Korean.
• Based in either Australia with full working rights.
• Have a positive, friendly and patient personality with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy.
• Have clear and articulate verbal communication skills with a strong ability explain topics so they are easy to understand.
• Teaching experience not compulsory but highly desirable.
• Be an Army of BTS!

This role would be perfect for a full-time worker looking for a fun side gig!
Hours will predominantly be outside of normal 9-5 office hours, so will fit in with most schedules. Aside from the set lesson times, the hours are very flexible to suit you.
This position will take approximately 3-5 hours a week initially, but may increase depending on demand over time, of up to 10 hours a week.
