Job Title: Paint Labourer – All Marine/Superyacht Painting & Restoration. Gold Coast
Due to continued growth and a number of new opportunities, we are currently looking for motivated and reliable paint labourers to join our dynamic team.
You will have the opportunity to progress your skills and knowledge growing within the company; tools and materials are provided. This position is based in the busy Marine precinct at Coomera, Gold Coast. We are a dedicated team with proven outstanding results and rapidly expanding as the leading provider of exceptional marine and superyacht painting and restoration services.
We're looking for a highly driven, skilled and detail-oriented individuals to assist in all aspects of delivering top-quality paint and restoration projects—on time and on target. The successful applicant must show the ability to tackle smaller vessels with confidence as well as bigger iconic superyachts.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management skills and work quickly with a strong knowledge of the painting and prepping processes.
To be successful, you will require physical stamina and a can-do attitude, with the drive to power through when tackling complex restorations.
Responsibilities:

• Arrive on time.
• Follow company policies and procedures.
• Apply assistance in prepping superyacht surfaces (hull, superstructure, decks)
• Assist in preparing surfaces for painting (sanding, cleaning, masking)
• Filling and fairing repairs or new builds.
• Detailing and buffing repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Provide excellent communication skills.
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
• Perform physical tasks (lifting, bending, climbing)
• Trusted to work under guidance or unsupervised.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of paint systems and Materials.
• 2+ years or proven history of Marine painting-labourer’s experience.

• Honesty and Trustworthiness.
• Always maintain professional manner and appearance during work hours or in uniform on site.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality work.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and overtime.+
• Ability to maintain confidentiality (working with high-end clients)
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transport.

The successful applicant will be given options for:

• Perm-Part time, Casual or ABN.
• Provided access to cutting-edge equipment, tools, and materials.

The Uniform is supplied along with a competitive rate per hour and ongoing work for experienced applicants.
Initial (2-week trial period) with a further probation period will apply.
