What are we looking for?
An exciting opportunity is now available to join our National Superannuation and Disability Insurance team in Ringwood/Melbourne. The successful candidate will ideally have proven experience within the superannuation disability insurance space or within personal injury litigation.
Our national team prides itself on obtaining the best outcomes for our clients with superannuation and private policy disability insurance claims or disputes.
Reporting to a Practice Leader, the key to your success will be an ability to ensure that your practice runs efficiently and that all new client matters are progressed with compassion, and exceptional client care. The successful candidate will need to be a strong team player and be keen to mentor and develop junior staff and build upon their leadership capabilities.

More about the role:
- Providing clients with legal advice on disability insurance claims and disputed claims
- Managing a file load, including prioritising work and delivering services effectively
- Manage and strengthen existing referral networks and client relationships, along with initiating and building new ones
- Be up to date with and undertake regular review of applicable case law and industry and legislative changes
It is essential that you have solid experience in Superannuation disability insurance claims and litigation. You will also have the following skills and attributes:
- Proven post admission experience
- Superior communication skills
- A proven ability to meet team goals and deadlines
- Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice
- Providing a tailored approach to clients to understand the context of their matter
- Identifying practical and innovative solutions for clients
- A calm and easy-going nature
- Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
- Ability to handle sensitive issues and challenging clients
- Experience running a high velocity file load
- An ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise effectively
