Commercial Lawyer
The Role:
Due to continued growth, we have an excellent opportunity for a mid-level experienced Commercial lawyer to join our highly respected Commercial and Private Client team. With a focus on commercial transactions, structuring, trusts, superannuation and succession planning, this role supports multiple authors including private client partners Clinton Jackson, Linda Tapiolas and Scott Hay-Bartlem.
The variety of work you will do includes:
- Preparing and negotiating commercial agreements, including stakeholder agreements, share and asset sale agreements
- Advising on business structuring
- Advising clients on asset protection strategies
- Drafting commercial documents and providing advice for restructuring
- Small to medium business merges and acquisitions, and commercial transactions
- 2+ years PAE with genuine passion and interest in commercial and private client space
- Excellent client service orientation
- Strong general technical skills and commercial acumen
- Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to consistently produce accurate, high quality work
- Dedication to the excellence and the delivery of outstanding client service
- Desire to strengthen and build client relationships to continually contribute to the growth and success of the firm
