We are recruiting on behalf of a prestigious legal firm whose Insurance and Corporate Risk Group stands out in the Australian legal market. This team offers expert advice across every class of insurance, including public and products liability, ISR, contract works, property, professional indemnity, D&O, workers’ compensation, marine, and aviation.
As a Legal Assistant in this team, you will work closely with a talented and supportive group of lawyers and paralegals, providing essential support to both the partner and the broader legal team.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Providing secretarial support for general administrative tasks, including billing, document and diary management;
Preparing briefs and managing court documents (drafting, amending, and organizing);
Proactively managing diaries and coordinating meetings;
Arranging travel logistics;
Opening and managing files;
Participating in team meetings and development sessions.

Support and guidance will be provided to ensure you become familiar with the firm’s systems and procedures.
