Light Vehicle Mechanic (Truck Experience)

BDS Mechanical currently has permanent position available in Miles for a light vehicle mechanic with truck experience. This is a full time, permanent position with multiple paths to progress in your career. A perfect opportunity to join a large, secure, reputable company.
About us:
BDS Mechanical Repairs is a privately owned and growing business that offers mechanical, auto electrical and welding repairs both in house and onsite with 22 fixed workshop locations throughout Queensland. We have over 160 field service units and the team at BDS cover over 600,000 km2 of Queensland and Western Australia, meaning we’re never too far away.
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant Trade Qualification
- Must be well versed and have a broad experience on light vehicles
- Heavy vehicle and mobile plant experience a bonus
- Good communication skills
- Strong fault finding skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Electrical skills a bonus
- Extra skills, experience, tickets and licenses will be advantageous
- Great hourly rate
- Full time employment (super, annual leave, sick leave)
- Mon-Fri or DIDO Roster
- Accommodation provided for DIDO
- Company vehicle for work purposes
- Upskill to HVRT
