Responsibilities:

Managing a large litigation portfolio and project including unfair dismissal claims and worker's compensation claims
Focusing heavily on Federal Court litigation and acting as the POC
Liaising with external counsel, drafting affidavits and managing witnesses
Engaging in mediations and conciliations in Fair Work Commission and Employment Tribunal
Undertaking ad hoc advisory work including advising on new products and employment legal risks
Advising the business on various risks and implications on new business
May also be required on to provide advisory support to HR

Requirements:

You'll have a minimum of 5 years relevant PQE
You'll be able to comfortably run discovery calls with various internal and external stakeholders
You'll be a team player and willing to undertake tasks such as taking meeting minutes, attending court hearings with the appointed law firm and taking internal court notes to update necessary stakeholders
Any labour dispute experience will be highly regarded
Must live in Sydney and be willing to work onsite
Must have full Australian working rights and be eligible to practice law in Australia.
