We seek trade qualified candidates for the role of Maintenance Fitter to be based at our Carwarp Almond Processing Plant.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will be accountable for establishing and supervising the machinery maintenance programs and procedures on the equipment to achieve the long-term sustainability of the plant.

This is not a 9am – 5pm position and does require a high level of commitment and a proactive approach. This ‘hands on’ role is suitable for someone with an output focus, who is able to think on their feet, troubleshoot and works well as part of a team. In addition the successful candidate will have:

• A mechanical or metal fabrication trade
• Solid experience in the programmed and preventative maintenance of machinery
• A great team attitude
• A strong safety mindset and track-record
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• At least two (2) years of relevant work experience required
