Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter that will ensure the maintenance of site assets, offering vital mechanical support to maintain safe, efficient production of high-quality products through proactive maintenance, focusing on responsiveness, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and task prioritisation.
Role Responsibilities:

• Actively participates in the sites preventative maintenance system ensuring that all reporting is completed adequately.
  
• Ensures product quality is maintained by applying established quality assurance practices such as Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) and by applying the sites operational procedures.
  
• Participates in ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained in the workshop.
  
• Operates in a manner that promotes and supports continuous improvement.
  
• Assists in the identification of own technical training needs and participates in training for ongoing developments and new systems.
  
• Participates in programs for training and raising awareness of operators as required.
  
• Assist in capital proposals and project work as required.
  
• Other reasonable duties as directed.
  
• Preventative/corrective maintenance and resolving breakdowns.
  
• Work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals and priorities.
  
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal disruption to production.
  
• Support Autonomous Maintenance teams.

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)

• Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
  
• Experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
