Job Summary
We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter that will ensure the maintenance of site assets, offering vital mechanical support to maintain safe, efficient production of high-quality products through proactive maintenance, focusing on responsiveness, Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF), Mean Time To Repair (MTTR), and task prioritisation.
Role Responsibilities:

Actively participates in the sites preventative maintenance system ensuring that all reporting is completed adequately.

Ensures product quality is maintained by applying established quality assurance practices such as Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Point (HACCP) and by applying the sites operational procedures.
-
Participates in ensuring that a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained in the workshop.
-
Operates in a manner that promotes and supports continuous improvement.
-
Assists in the identification of own technical training needs and participates in training for ongoing developments and new systems.
-
Participates in programs for training and raising awareness of operators as required.
-
Assist in capital proposals and project work as required.
-
Other reasonable duties as directed.
-
Preventative/corrective maintenance and resolving breakdowns.
-
Work collaboratively as a team to achieve goals and priorities.
-
Troubleshooting and problem-solving with minimal disruption to production.
-
Support Autonomous Maintenance teams.
Mandatory:
-
Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
-
Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics
-
Experience in a Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
-
High Risk License:

Advanced Boiler

Dogging
-
Boom Lift (Elevating Work Platform over 11m)
