Mental Health Clinician (Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse) - Child and Youth Mental Health Service

The Child and Youth Mental Health Service at the Mackay Community Health Centre is seeking applications for a Mental Health Clinician (Health Practitioner or Clinical Nurse) to join their team on a temporary basis.

Your opportunity
- Work within a multidisciplinary team to provide mental health case-management services to clients with a chronic and/or severe mental illness. Case-management will include assessment, intervention and treatment as well as group work as required, in accordance with professional standards and legislation (Mental Health Act 2016; State and National plans and polices).
- Work collaboratively with consumers and multidisciplinary professionals to provide clinical care and a therapeutic environment conducive to the dignity and well-being of consumers and carers within the integrated Mental Health Service (IMHS).
The community CYMHS team provides intake, assessment, treatment and case management services to young people (and families) with moderate to severe mental health issues.
