The first brand is Ten Tops, an exciting Discount Variety brand that sells Nothing Over $10 and has ambitious growth plans with nine stores and counting.
The second brand is an exciting, new to market, global retail brand. This business designs, produces, and sells stylish, seasonal pieces alongside vibrant, contemporary essentials for everyday use, with a strong emphasis on sustainability. The franchise currently operates in 37 countries with nearly 1,000 stores and has ambitious global growth plans, including a rapid expansion in Australia. Due to contractual obligations, we cannot reveal the name of the company but will be released on Monday 9th September 2024.
Job purpose
The New Store Opening Manager will play a key role by executing the New Store Opening strategy and plan across both Ten Tops stores and our new Global Franchise Brand. They will be responsible for the majority of the end-to-end process of opening store, from the physical build to building the in store team.
The role would be also be a great stepping stone from a Store Manager to Operations Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
People:
- Recruit, select and train in store team in line with our company culture and working practices
- Embed the team and ensure a great working environment
- Provide hypercare to the store teams for a set period of time after launch.
Store Build:
- Collaborate with Project Manager to plan access and timelines for new stores
- Manage the in-store build to plan, including building of shelving, stands, bins etc
- Liaise with contractors to ensure utilities are up and running to plan and to deadline
Budget/Performance:
- Responsible for managing rostering and store performance for hypercare period
- Collaborate with Project Manager to keep new store openings on time and in budget
- Provide feedback on initial performance of the store

Salary: $90k - $100k + Car + Super + Bonus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $90,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
