We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Apprentice Panel Beater in Burwood. If you’re passionate about cars and enjoy working with your hands, this is a great opportunity to develop skills in vehicle repair and restoration while gaining hands-on experience. This role is open to Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals who are eager to learn and build a career in the automotive industry.
Position: Apprentice Panel Beater
Location: Burwood
Type: Full-time Apprenticeship (3-4 years)
Qualification: Fee-free Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology
Key Responsibilities:

Assisting in repairing and restoring damaged vehicle bodywork to its original condition
Learning to remove, repair, and replace damaged panels and parts on a variety of vehicles
Using specialised tools and equipment to straighten, align, and repair vehicle structures
Following safety protocols and ensuring high-quality workmanship at all times
Collaborating with experienced panel beaters to complete repairs within agreed timelines

Requirements:

Identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on, demanding environment

Must pass a police check
Willingness to learn and a passion for the automotive industry
