About the role:
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and passionate Customer Service Assistant to join our team on weekends. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and a dedication to providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers as they enter the store, assisting them to find products and providing information on pet care, nutrition and product selection
• Promote and upsell products based on customer needs
• Process customer transactions at the checkout efficiently and accurately
• Assist with stocking shelves to ensure products are readily available
• Work closely with other team members
• Maintain a clean, organised and welcoming store environment
• Stay informed about the latest products, promotions and trends in the pet industry to provide expert advice and recommendations to customers

To be successful in this role you must have:

• Previous retail or customer service experience
• A passion for animals and knowledge of basic pet care
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Attention to detail regarding store presentation & cleanliness
• Ability to lift up to 20kg
