Practice Support Officer

Your opportunity
As a Practice Support Officer, you will ensure the service delivery roles within Home and Allied health are supported with the intake and administration of referrals and the allocation of services.
- Ensure appropriately skilled staff are rostered at the right time to deliver patient care to clients in their own homes
- Ensuring the right number of staff, with the relevant skills/qualifications are scheduled to work at the right time in the right geographical location
- Ensure the schedules created is aligned to forecasted requirements
- Reschedule cover of unplanned changes in staff availability
What will set you apart from the rest?
You will bring previous experience working in a large scale omni-channel planning/rostering environment. With proven skills in time management, multi-tasking and prioritising, you are able to work effectively in a multi-faceted team and equally as an autonomous operator. Experience in leave planning & scheduling to ensure continuity of service delivery is essential together with:
- Demonstrated ability to undertake detailed work & maintain information within systems with a high degree of accuracy
- Personal accountability and commitment to timely delivery of quality output
- High level of Proficiency of Microsoft Excel (experience with Access and SQL would be advantageous)
- Initiative, proactive attitude, with ability to multitask between phones, emails & scheduling and truly ‘think outside the box’
- Ability to thrive under tight time constraints in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work between 7.00am and 8.00pm across a 7-day roster
