Sportscape Constructions is looking for an experienced & qualified Carpenter to join our team.

About the Role:
Working closely with the management team, this role requires a proactive and dynamic individual with hands-on experience in a similar role. You will be a part of the team and the effort to complete projects in a timely and efficient manner. Your duties will include:

Maintain construction standards, documentation, and project success metrics;
Liaise with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and keeping them informed of progress;
Oversee material ordering and quality control, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors;
Contribute to the company's innovation by finding new, effective construction techniques.
Thoroughly check plant and equipment, accurately filing the appropriate logbook.
Provide daily site diaries and submit staff time sheets.
Reading and interpreting plans.
A variety of carpentry work, including framing, fencing, formwork, decking, steel fixing, pergolas, subfloors, cladding, and retaining walls.
Occasional landscaping work and concreting.

What type of Person will be successful:

Qualified carpenter with a Certificate 3 Carpentry or equivalent.
Minimum three years carpentry experience.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to travel to multiple job sites across Victoria
Experience with formwork is preferred.
Construction Industry White Card.
WWCC.
Current drivers licence.
Safety training and certifications are advantageous
Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Own vehicle and all tools is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $40.00 – $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
