Duties & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Radiator maintenance and repairs, rebuild and bolt up.
• Stripping, washing, and testing radiators and cooling components.
• Prep of radiator tubes before installation.
• Use of hand tools such as grinders, spray painting equipment and other tools and machinery.
• Manual handling.
• Housekeeping duties to ensure safe operation of the work area.
• Additional duties can include painting, strip and assembly, pressure testing and soldering.
• Air Conditioner Re-gasing
• Customer Service

About You
To be considered for this position you will ideally have:

• Mechanical aptitude and/or experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with overall cooling system
• Soldering / welding experienced highly valued
• High Risk Work License – Forklift
• Mechanical and/or radiator knowledge
• Custom Fabrication skills highly valued
• Experience with Tig and Mig welding on steel and aluminium repairs
• Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology
• Possess and maintain an Automotive Air Conditioning Licence (AAC02) or have the ability to obtain.
• Have a can do attitude
• Happy to provide customer assistance

· Current driver's license is required

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $23.46 per hour
Expected hours: 38 per week
Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay
• Penalty rates

Experience:

• Tig and Mig welding on steel and aluminium repairs: 1 year (Preferred)
• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Full Driver Licence (Preferred)
• Forklift Licence (Preferred)
• Automotive Air Conditioning (Preferred)

Work Authorisation:

• Australia (Preferred)

Location:

• Mildura, VIC 3500 (Preferred)
