About the role

Bathurst Regional Council is currently seeking experienced Roller Operators to join the crew, to undertake roller duties associated with road construction and maintenance activities.
You will hold a current NSW Class C driver’s licence, as a minimum, have experience operating rollers, and knowledge and experience in basic mechanical and maintenance principles of plant. Experience working in the road maintenance and construction industry are also key requirements.

Key Requirements

• Possess a current NSW Class C Driver’s Licence, as a minimum
• General Construction Induction Card (White Card)
• Sound knowledge and experience in the operation of rollers including, padfoot, smooth drum and multi-tyred, self-propelled or otherwise.
• Experience in the utilisation of small plant
• Have a sound knowledge of the metric system of measurement
• Experience in the utilisation of small plant
• Proven ability to work effectively as a team member
• Take Annual Leave in accordance with the applicable Leave Roster
• Ability to complete associated administrative duties

This position requires a pre employment health assessment which includes a functional, audio and drug and alcohol screen.
Salary: $1,044.00 to $1,096.90 per week + adverse working conditions allowance level 1 of $18.92 per week + superannuation
Position Status: Permanent Full-time
Hours of work: 38 hours per week with an RDO every fortnight
