About the Project:

John Holland are delighted to have been selected to deliver the M7 - M12 Interchange, which includes widening the M7 between the M5 at Prestons and Richmond Rd at Oakhurst, and building a new interchange between the M7 and M12 and an upgrade to Elizabeth Drive to connect it to the M12.
The project is currently finalising it’s Safety delivery team and seeking applications for a Safety Coordinator to join the project team. Working in amongst an experienced team of Advisors and Safety Managers, you will ultimately support the broader safety and construction teams to ensure site works are achieved safely and in accordance with project program.

Your Role:

• Support the implementation of the Safety Management Plan
• Support site safety advisors to ensure OHS compliance
• Work with Project Managers and Engineer to assist in the safe planning of high risk works, including logistics, and plant challenges
• Subcontractor safety performance
• Support the development of a strong safety culture across the projects, and encouraging employee wellbeing and care

About You:

• Minimum 1 year experience in a Safety role, ideally in the construction, engineering or mining sectors
• Tertiary qualified in Safety, with Cert IV completion
• A team player mindset and good communication with all staff and workforce
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
