Job Title: Sales Director - Salesforce Solutions
Location: Melbourne, Australia (Work from Home + Client Visits)
Join a dynamic Salesforce partner and lead transformative solutions for businesses. My client is looking for an experienced Sales Director with deep expertise in Salesforce technology and a strong track record of sales success. This Melbourne-based role offers the flexibility to work from home while engaging and travelling to meet directly with clients across the region .
About the Role:
As the Sales Director, you will spearhead the sales process, from developing relationships with C-level executives to closing deals and overseeing Salesforce solution implementations. You'll collaborate with business process owners, project managers, and technical teams to ensure seamless integration and successful outcomes. This role requires a blend of leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to build lasting client relationships, with a 20% travel requirement for client meetings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Salesforce Sales: Leverage your 10+ years ( minimum qualification ) of experience in Salesforce technology and sales to develop new business opportunities and expand existing accounts across Melbourne and surrounding areas.
- Client Relationship Management: Partner with C-level executives as a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on Salesforce solutions.
- Sales Leadership: Lead the entire sales cycle, from identifying opportunities to contract negotiations, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout.
- Collaborate for Success: Work closely with business process owners, program/project managers, and technical teams to create customized solution proposals for clients.
- Project Oversight: Manage and track multiple projects, ensuring smooth implementations with a focus on client needs and results.
- Salesforce Knowledge: Stay engaged with the latest Salesforce ecosystem developments and demonstrate expertise in its implementation across large-scale technology projects.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of Salesforce technology experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a master’s degree .
- 10+ years of consulting and systems integration sales experience , with at least 8+ years focused on Salesforce solutions.
- Proven sales success, with a documented and sustained track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Extensive experience collaborating with business process owners, project leaders, and technical teams to deliver large-scale technology solutions.
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and present solutions effectively to C-level executives.
- Experience managing end-to-end implementations of Salesforce or Saa S solutions.
- Strong judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency in G-Suite, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools like MS Teams, Quip, Slack, and project management tools like Smartsheet and Lucidchart.
- Must be authorized to work in Australia and willing to travel up to 20% for client meetings.
