Restaurant Associates has an enviable track record, working with some of the most prestigious venues and corporations in the world. From grand gala events to intimate gatherings, we provide bespoke food solutions and exceptional dining experiences.
We are currently looking for a Sales & Event Planner who will be responsible for driving the sales of all functions at the National Gallery of Victoria, as well as successfully coordinating events to ensure overall client satisfaction and repeat business
The Role
  • Client management, event planning and operational set up to deliver successful functions
  • Conduct site inspections, client follow-ups and liaison, creating detailed event orders, floorplans and invoicing
  • Work co-operatively with operations and kitchen teams in regard to handing over functions to ensure seamless delivery
  • Conduct follow-up correspondence with clients and respond to feedback
  • Working directly with preferred suppliers where required
  • Provide a warm, friendly and welcoming service to customers and clients
The person
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a function venue or similar environment
  • Experience within the catering or hospitality industry preferred but not essential
  • Desire to be hands on team player
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise tasks
  • Flexible approach and attitude
  • Good communication skills
