This roster will be 7/7 Day and night shift and a 12 hour day.

About the role

The Processing Shift Supervisor plays a crucial role in optimizing daily operations of our process shift teams. This position is key to driving safety, efficiency, and quality in our workflows. As a central point of contact, the supervisor collaborates with various departments, business partners, and contractors to ensure that key performance indicators are met.

Your duties will include the following:
Ensure throughput and tons per operating hour are met as per budget.
Optimise recovery and circuit reliability
Control and track reagent/media consumption
Assist in identifying and implementing cost control measures and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure budget throughput rates and a quality pastefill product is delivered to underground

Ordering processing parts liaising with plant stores

Team development thorough training, coaching, and mentoring

Engages in the planned maintenance system

Engaged with equipment shutdowns and relevant isolations

Operate water supply and tailings storage facilities

Maintain housekeeping and relevant standards

About you

Report to the Processing superintendent you will require the following Qualifications, Skills and experience:

Cert III or IV Frontline management desirable (or equivalent supervisory qualifications)

Cert III or IV Trainer/ Assessor (desirable)

Previous experience in a large, automated gold plant or similar role and demonstrated supervisory experience is essential

Conversant with equipment isolation practices

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Forklift/Skid-steer/Front end loader competencies (desirable)

Ability to multi-task and implement solutions in a fast-paced environment

Prioritise workload and meet deadlines effectively

The ability to delegate work to team members ensuring team strengths are utilised

Working under pressure with competing priorities

Valid driver’s license

Computer literate Microsoft Word and Excel, Knowledge of SCADA/DCS systems as well as Pronto/ and or SAP experience
