Job Description Summary: What you need to know about the role Pay Pal Australia is the provider of purchase payment facilities in Australia, primarily supervised by APRA and ASIC. Pay Pal is looking for a fast-learning, dynamic senior product and regulatory lawyer to join our legal team. Based in Sydney, this position will be primarily responsible for providing critical and proactive legal and strategic advice on a wide range of complex legal and regulatory issues relating to Pay Pal’s products. The position will involve liaising with risk and compliance, marketing, credit risk, product development and other key stakeholders to advise on key regulatory matters and projects relating to Pay Pal’s products and ensure that legal and regulatory expectations are met. The position will also be the lead legal adviser in Australia for privacy matters.
