A great package starting from:

$30 p/hour + Super + $10p/day horse allowance ($10 for 1 horse $20 for 2+ horses)
Supply of feed, shoeing, wormers and Hendra vaccinations
Up to 3 horses on site, supply of one paddock per employee and use of stable
Fully furnished accommodation + utilities available (subject to availability)
Uniform, seasonal weather gear and riding boots supplied
Access to meat purchases each quarter

Rotating roster – 6 on, 1 off, 4 on, 3 off

About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Stockperson to join our team at our Charlton Feedlot.
Responsibilities include:

Unloading of incoming cattle and loading of outgoing cattle as well as general stock handling
Pen riding, pen movements, drafting and cutting out
Diagnosis of animal health symptoms with a strong emphasis on animal welfare
Data entry, reporting and updating daily records and general yard maintenance

About You
An enthusiastic person who has a genuine interest in working in the feedlot industry.
You’ll need to have:

Good horsemanship and riding skills + cattle handling experience
A minimum of two horses and required gear
Strong communication skills, team player and high attention to detail
Q-Fever vaccinated (or willingness to get – we can provide this).
