Plasdene Glass-Pak is an Australian-owned, robust family business, and a major importer and wholesale distributor of glass and plastic packaging materials (bottles, jars, containers and closures) for supply to the food, beverage, pharmaceutical, health care, wine, oil, spirit, industrial, agricultural, pet care, personal care and cosmetic sectors.
Key accountabilities for the role include:
- Accurately and efficiently picking and packing of orders into specific configurations to ensure the completeness and correctness of all customer orders
- Receiving and despatching of goods
- Unloading and loading of goods
- Undertake stocktake and regular cycle counts
- Implement inventory control initiatives
- Work in a safe manner, complying with all company rules and procedures
- Maintain the work area in a neat and tidy manner
- Proficient in moderate computer skills
- Enjoy being physically active in a fast-paced environment with the ability to do heavy and repetitive lifting
- Be able to work independently and within a team environment
- Be a responsible, reliable, punctual and hard-working individual with a positive attitude and good attention to detail
- Have your own reliable transport, on-site parking is provided
- Hold a current forklift license
