About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Accountant to join our Administration team based at our Head Office in Yatala. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for an aspiring accountant who has recently completed studies in accounting. As a Trainee Accountant, you will gain practical experience in a supportive environment with exposure across a wide range of areas of the business.
You will be assisting in the following areas:

Bank reconciliations
Maintaining and updating truck schedule for settlements
Reconciling floorplan accounts
Maintaining asset registers
Assisting with wage processing and posting journals to DMS
Assisting with month end management reporting
Monthly reconciliation for various G/L accounts
Reviewing creditors to ensure Company guidelines are followed
Reviewing branch cash accounts and bank locations to ensure they are within Company guidelines
Ad hoc data analysis
Maintaining Web Expense users
Assisting with account/admin queries from branches

What you need to have:

Bachelor of Business majoring in Accounting or Bachelor of Accounting
Customer-focus, self-motivation and enthusiasiam
Excellent attentional to detail, communication and organisational skills
Strong analytical skills
Excellent computer skills
Effective time management skills
Able to work autonomously and as part of a team
Able to multitask
