During the Engineering traineeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate II in Engineering.
Trainees will primarily be engaged in production work, duties include (but not limited to):

• Oxy-acetylene and soldering equipment
• Using fabrication equipment
• Pulling apart and reassemble engineering mechanisms
• Interacting with computing technology
• Monitoring, servicing, repairing and assembly of mechanical, fabrication, electrical and metal product machines.
• Computer numeric machine (cnc) processes
• Foundry processes and automatic moulding equipment and furnace operations
• Stationary and mobile plant and packaging machines

Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:

• Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
• Be motivated with a positive attitude
• Physically fit, self-disciplined, and have high attention to detail
• Reliable, resilient, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to take direction and take the safety of yourself and your team members seriously
• Eagerness to learn
