What you'll be doing
SCHN KEYS Team leader will lead a team of multiagency KEYS Navigators who provide specialised information and assistance to key service providers – to identify vulnerable families and their needs, support access and co-ordination of quality services between agencies to families and ensure there is a coordinated shared family plan for ongoing support to families.
The KEYS Team leader will provide management and supervision to the team and work together with the KEYS Manager to provide strategic leadership and support to the program.
The role will build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and strengthen interagency partnerships and referral pathways.
The team leader will play a key role in initiating, developing and participating in service development and continuous quality improvement to ensure the project meets key deliverables.
SCHN KEYS Team Leader will be employed by The Children’s Hospital at Westmead but hold a leadership role within an interagency team.
- Tertiary qualification in an allied health discipline or relevant degree and/or relevant work experience in the delivery of services and/or case management to vulnerable children and their families.
- Demonstrated experience in management, leadership and supervision of teams.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and experience in the development of interagency collaborations and innovative ways of working.
- Demonstrated organisational and problem solving skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and work independently in a dynamic and evolving program.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written skills, including demonstrated capacity to manage conflict and difference. Including experience in managing interagency relationships and partnerships.
- Experience in managing effective interagency relationships and partnerships and working with individuals and services to increase capability within services including the understanding of the service system supporting children and their families, and the interconnectivity between government and non-government agencies supporting families.
- Demonstrated skills in service planning, system redesign and involvement in quality improvement activities.
- Excellent IT skills including ability to learn and adapt to new and developing systems.
