Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with over 5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant with over 5 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee and manage the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with auditors during annual audits and provide necessary documentation and explanations.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement best practices for accounting processes.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations affecting accounting practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating leadership and initiative.
Experience:
- Accounting: 5 years (Preferred)
- English (Preferred)
- Arabic (Preferred)
