Job Title: Civil Engineer / Construction Project Coordinator

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Civil Engineer (6 years experience minimum) who will also serve as the Construction Project Coordinator. This dual role requires a strong foundation in civil engineering principles, alongside excellent project management skills to oversee construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and Engineering:
• Develop detailed engineering designs and specifications for civil projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to inform design processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and regulations.
• Project Coordination:
• Plan, organize, and coordinate construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to establish project timelines and deliverables.
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Documentation and Reporting:
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards.
• Provide regular updates to management and stakeholders on project status and potential risks.
• Budget Management:
• Assist in preparing project budgets and forecasts.
• Track project expenditures and ensure financial accountability.
• Team Leadership:
• Coordinate and lead project teams, ensuring clear communication and collaboration among all members.
• Foster a positive working environment and resolve any conflicts that arise during the project lifecycle.
• Attend project meetings and represent the company in public forums as necessary.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proven experience in civil engineering design and construction project management.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies, safety regulations, and building codes.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering design tools.
