FLORIST JOB DESCRIPTION
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Handle customer’s request and orders and maintain plants and shop.
2. Assist in events such as weddings, parties & on site decorations.
3. Responsible to provide excellent customer service, understanding their floral design needs and assist them with design of custom arrangement.
4. Showroom display and responsible for window design and product replacements.
5. Making fresh and artificial flower arrangements and artificial plants as per the customer’s requirement.
6. Responsible for job costing and quotation preparation, Supplies and materials procurements, Daily statement preparation and inventory management.
7. Role includes planning of corporate events and private functions as well as public relation, and responsible for the planing and implementation of year round plan to promote company’s services, drive sales/income and to establish and improve corporate image, prepare recommendation for new products and services.
8. Identify and contact new customers and meet cost target, develop strategies for sales, prepare annual and monthly sales plan.
9. Conceptualization of floral design to customize according to client’s specifiction – be it individule or corporate and exhibition-scale requirement, as well as A-Z special events, exhibition and coference project.
10. Team work, attantion to detail and quality, quanitiy, handling, system working in the flower shop, creat flower orders for needed daily basis.
11. Confer with clients regarding price and type of arrangements desired and the date, time, and place of delivery, wrape and price completed arrangement.
12. Responsible for Watering plants, and cut, condition, and clean flowers and foliages for storage. Select flora snf foliages for arrangement, working with numerous combinations to synthesize and develop new creation.
13. Assist in production of artificial trees and plants arrangements and after sales service.
14. Help in loading and unloading trees and plants in the vehicle and delivery at site.
15. Assist in cleaning and maintenane of trees and plants in the factory and at site in maintemance projects.
16. Required to arrange flower and plants displays in commercial building,, homes, offices etc., both in Bahrain and in the territory. This job will involve prepation of arrangements in high elevation balconies involving scaffolding.
17. Required to make outdoor and indoor sales calls to potential clients in Bahrainand in the territory to scure business for The company.
18. Responsible to maintain cleanliness working and delivery site area as and when require.
19. Should not allow materials to pass outside the premises without proper documents and manager approval.
20. In addition to the above you are expected to carry out activities assigned to you by the manager within the activitiy and nature of your job.
21. You are expected to be of good behavior and oberve the ules and regulation set by the company and remain the proper apperance at all times, you are also bond to fulfill your duties with honesty and integrity and strictly keep the secrate of the company and its activities.
