Role Overview:
The Functional Medical Doctor with experience in integrated medicine and regenerative medicine will play a vital role in delivering personalized and advanced medical care to our clients. As a Functional Medical Doctor, you will integrate the principles of functional medicine, conventional medicine, and regenerative medicine to address the underlying causes of health issues and promote healing and rejuvenation. You will work closely with patients to develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate a comprehensive understanding of their medical history, lifestyle, nutrition, environmental factors, and regenerative medicine options. This role requires a deep understanding of functional medicine principles, excellent diagnostic skills, experience with integrated medical centers, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care and Treatment:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history review, physical examinations, and advanced diagnostic testing, to identify underlying causes of health concerns.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that integrate functional medicine principles, conventional medicine practices, and regenerative medicine options, considering the individual's biochemistry, genetics, nutrition, lifestyle, and environmental factors.
• Prescribe and monitor appropriate therapeutic interventions, including medications, nutritional supplements, lifestyle modifications, stress management techniques, regenerative therapies, and other modalities.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within Alkem Health and Wellness, such as chiropractors, manual therapists, and aesthetic specialists, to provide holistic and collaborative patient care.

2. Integrated Medicine and Regenerative Medicine Expertise:

• Bring expertise in integrated medicine and regenerative medicine to the role, incorporating the latest advancements and evidence-based practices in these areas into patient care.
• Utilize regenerative medicine options, such as stem cell therapy, platelet-rich plasma (PRP) treatments, and other regenerative modalities, to promote healing, tissue regeneration, and overall well-being.
• Stay updated with advancements in integrated medicine and regenerative medicine through continuous education, research, and professional development.

3. Collaboration and Communication:

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals within Alkem Health and Wellness to provide coordinated and integrated care for patients.
• Communicate effectively with patients, explaining complex medical concepts and regenerative medicine

options in a clear and understandable manner.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with patients, fostering trust, and ensuring open lines of communication.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Operations and other team members to contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive treatment protocols.

4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans,

progress notes, and other relevant information.

• Adhere to legal and ethical standards of medical record-keeping, ensuring patient confidentiality and

privacy.

• Complete and submit necessary reports and documentation in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
• Certified by the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFMCP) or a similar recognized body in functional medicine.
• Additional training or certification in functional medicine, integrated medicine, or regenerative medicine is highly

desired.

• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience, with a demonstrated focus on integrated medicine and regenerative

medicine.

• Strong knowledge of functional medicine principles, conventional medicine practices, and regenerative medicine

options.

• Experience in utilizing regenerative medicine therapies, such as stem cell therapy and platelet-rich plasma

(PRP) treatments, to promote healing and rejuvenation.

• Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret complex lab results and medical data.
• Proficiency in developing personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs and goals,

incorporating integrated and regenerative medicine principles.

• Empathetic and compassionate approach to patient care, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest research and advancements in

functional medicine, integrated medicine, and regenerative medicine.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required. Additional language skills are a plus.
