Role Purpose
The Group Fitness Instructor is responsible for leading and motivating participants in safe and effective group exercise classes. They create a positive and inclusive environment while providing instruction on proper form, technique, and exercise modifications. The instructor ensures participant safety and enjoyment, adapting workouts to varying fitness levels.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Group Exercise Classes: Instruct and motivate participants in a variety of group fitness classes, such as aerobics, strength training, yoga, Pilates, dance fitness, and more.
• Provide Instruction & Modifications: Demonstrate proper exercise form and technique, offering modifications to accommodate various fitness levels and abilities.
• Create a Positive & Inclusive Environment: Foster a welcoming and supportive atmosphere, encouraging participant engagement and interaction.
• Ensure Participant Safety: Monitor participants during class, provide corrections and adjustments as needed, and respond to any injuries or concerns.
• Adapt Workouts to Varying Fitness Levels: Offer modifications and progressions to ensure all participants feel challenged and successful.
• Maintain Up-to-Date Certifications: Stay current with industry trends and maintain required fitness certifications and CPR/AED certification.
• Promote Class Attendance: Engage with members, promote class offerings, and encourage participation in group fitness programs.
• Collaborate with Fitness Team: Contribute to program development and work effectively with other fitness professionals.

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certifications: Nationally recognized group fitness instructor certification (e.g., ACE, AFAA, NASM). CPR/AED certification.
• Experience: Previous experience teaching group fitness classes preferred.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong leadership and motivational abilities. Ability to adapt instruction to various fitness levels. Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goals.

Additional Considerations:

• Physical Demands: The Group Fitness Instructor must be able to perform all exercises demonstrated in class, lift and move equipment, and stand for extended periods.
• Work Environment: The work environment is typically a fitness studio or gym, with exposure to music and moderate noise levels.
• Schedule: The schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: BD300.000 - BD500.000 per month
Experience:

• Fitness Training: 4 years (Required)
• Group Classes: 3 years (Preferred)
