Your New Role
The Apprentice Aviation Service Technician assists qualified technicians in installing, maintaining, and repairing Survitec safety equipment to meet standard requirements. This position aims to develop skills and knowledge necessary to become a competent Service Technician.
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:

• Supports qualified Service Technicians to install, maintain, and repair Survitec safety equipment.
• Learns core service procedures under supervision and practices more complex tasks under full guidance.
• Participates in controlled changes to processes to enhance continuous improvement.
• Assists in setting up and testing new products or processes as per training and guidance.
• Conducts preventive maintenance inspections under supervision, learning to identify and diagnose equipment requirements.
• Develops expertise in Survitec policies, procedures, and regulatory codes for adherence.
• Prioritizes health, safety, and environmental policies, actively identifying and addressing risks.
• Enhances capabilities through training and coaching, working towards proficiency in multiple product lines.
• Maintains accurate stock levels and records following the store requisition process.
• Contributes to creating a positive work environment aligned with Survitec Values.

The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:

• Educated to High School level
• No prior experience required for this role, although 1 – 3 years of experience in a related industry could accelerate learning.
• Driving License
