We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend services and APIs that power our applications. This role requires a strong understanding of server-side technologies and database management.
Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend systems for our applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code for various backend services.
• Design and implement APIs for client-side applications to consume.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Continuously improve the codebase by conducting code reviews and refactoring.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in backend development.
• Proficiency in server-side languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or .NET.
• Experience with database technology such as My SQL, Mongo DB, Oracle, and/or SQLServer.
• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
• Focus on efficiency, user experience, and process improvement.

Language Requirements:

• Proficient in English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Knowledge of code versioning tools such as Git.
• Understanding of frontend technologies (Java Script, HTML5, CSS) is advantageous.
