Gems IS is seeking a talented, motivated and experienced SAP ISU Analyst to join our team. The Analyst will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, designing solutions, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across various projects and initiatives.
You will collaborate closely with developers, other business analysts/testers, and stakeholders to understand requirements, design test cases, execute testing activities, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

Your challenges

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications
• Conduct analysis of existing systems, processes, and data to identify opportunities for improvement
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that meet business objectives
• Develop and maintain documentation, including requirements, process flows, and user guides
• Conduct user acceptance testing and provide support during implementation phases
• Monitor and evaluate system performance, identifying areas for optimization and enhancement. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in functional analysis and business process optimization
• You perform the implementation (customizing, write technical specs for the developer)
• You perform unit tests and integration tests

Your profile as a analyst

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
• Proven experience in functional analysis, requirements gathering, and solution design
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on understanding complex business processes and system interactions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Min. 8 years experience in IT service organization
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Nice to have competencies
• Knowledge of the Energy market in Belgium

Languages

• Fluent in either French or Dutch and next to an excellent understanding of English.
