For our Finance Department in Dendermonde, we are looking for a Business Controller.
What will you do for us as a Business Controller?
In this dynamic and high-impact role with a global scope, you will be the financial backbone of our Project Management Office (PMO), supporting the director of PMO in managing the financial aspects of our groundbreaking loudspeaker development projects. You will ensure that the team is equipped with the insights needed to make strategic decisions.
Your Key Responsibilities Include:

• Drive Financial Planning: Coordinate and oversee the budgeting process for product development costs, including both operational expenditures (OPEX) and capital expenditures (CAPEX).
• Budget Management: Assign, track, and maintain development budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation across projects.
• IFRS-Compliant Postings: Manage monthly postings into the IFRS R&D intangible asset ledger, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
• Forecasting & Reporting: Regularly update and report on forecasted project costs to ensure alignment with business goals.
• KPI Reporting: Prepare and deliver financial KPI reports that guide high-level decision-making during management meetings.
• Ad-Hoc Financial Support: Provide financial expertise to PMO on various projects, from implementing new project management tools to analyzing the financial performance of specific changes and developments.

What will you bring to PSS?

• Financial Expertise: A relevant master’s degree in finance, with a proven track record of working with numbers.
• Excel Wizardry: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Experience with Power Query and Power BI is a strong advantage.
• Tech-Savviness: Familiarity with SAP, BI tools, or other financial software is a plus.
• Analytical Mindset: Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Critical Mindset: A sharp, critical approach with the ability to question assumptions, identify risks, and propose well-thought-out solutions.
• Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in an industrial environment will set you apart but is not mandatory.
• Fluent English: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
