EY People Advisory Services (PAS) within our Tax & Legal service line specializes in everything that has anything to do with people management. EY’s People Advisory Services help clients in designing and implementing an integrated people strategy. We provide advice on everything from planning development programs and remuneration packages, to efficiently managing global secondments and digitizing workflows.

The Reward team is a dedicated, multidisciplinary team within the People Advisory Services department consisting of more than 50 remuneration experts, technology geeks and data wizards spread over 5 offices in Belgium. Within our team, we mostly focus on improving reward policies and practices. We support our clients on topics ranging from reduction of employment costs to the setup of compensation & benefits strategies. In addition, we continuously update and inform our clients on legislative changes and innovations.
To serve our clients to the best extent possible, we have identified 3 strong fields of play within our team:

Your Key Responsibilities
In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, the role of HR is shifting from a transactional function to a strategic partner integral to an organization's success. The traditional paradigms of talent acquisition, employee engagement, and operational efficiency are being redefined by the transformative powers of data analytics, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. A successful integration thereof will become an indispensable pillar of any HR strategy.
As an HR & Reward Business Development Consultant, your primary mission will be to identify new market opportunities and develop compelling offerings that meet the evolving needs of our clients. Your role will include:
  • Conducting market research to identify trends and opportunities within the HR & Reward practice.
  • Developing business cases for new offerings, including market analysis, competitive landscape, and financial projections.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement new services and products.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to understand their challenges and propose innovative solutions.
  • Leading the go-to-market strategy for new offerings, including positioning, messaging, and launch activities.
  • Providing thought leadership in the HR & Reward space, contributing to industry publications, and speaking at relevant events.
  • Staying abreast of regulatory changes and technological advancements that can impact HR & Reward strategies.


Your Profile

  • You have at least a bachelor’s degree in Psychology, HR, Business Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, preferably within the HR & Reward sector.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with project management tools.
  • A strong background in HR & Reward, with a deep understanding of how to create value for clients in this space.
  • A strategic thinker with a proven ability to spot market opportunities and develop new business offerings.
  • Excellent business acumen and a track record of successful business development initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex ideas into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English. Next to that, you are fluent in Dutch or French.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with project management and product development processes.
