Forvis Mazars Belgium is seeking a Consultant in M&A Transaction Services. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic team of professionals, led by experienced partners, who are committed to providing high-quality services to clients. The position offers the opportunity to work on M&A projects in various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist on M&A transactions, including buy-side and sell-side deals;
- Analyse financial information in order to identify normalization adjustments on EBITDA, net working capital and net financial debt;
- Analyse if the financial projections are reasonable by comparing against appropriate benchmarks;
- Prepare presentations and reports for clients and stakeholders;
- Conduct research and analysis on industries and markets;
- Operating as a point of contact for clients in this process and be responsible for the day-to-day management of engagements.
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field;
- Prior experience of minimum 1 year preferably in audit, Corporate Finance, M&A or a similar (consulting) environment;
- Strong analytical skills;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment;
- Fluency in English and Dutch. French is a plus.
