JOB DESCRIPTION
Execute the wholesale merchandising strategy with the wholesale merch team to build profitable product assortments that will maximize performance, productivity, brand heat and brand experience for the wholesale channel ( digital accounts and Bcom customers). Closely collaborate with Gender merchants to execute the product strategies, aligned with SBP targets. Collaborate with wholesale commercial team to build the most impactful and relevant segmented assortments.
You will be responsible of managing agility offer in close collaboration with Merch ops, ensuring flawless execution and consumer right product offer thanks to EU for EU process. Build strong partnership with cross functional peers (marketing/ planning/ sales/ ops) to execute with impact and keep the consumers at the center of everything we do.
  • Be the voice of the consumers and identify opportunities to increase our fan base and engage with new consumers and support new distribution expansion.
  • Drive consumer right assortment and segmentation strategies that will drive a profitable and sustainable growth for Wholesale while building impactful Monthly product stories, generating brand heat, commercial opportunities, in line with the big ideas of the season and SBP strategy, taking into account market specificities and consumer targets.
  • Connect and align with X functional partners (Planning, Marketing and Commercial team) to ensure efficient and impactful execution in the market place of the products strategy across the wholesale channel.
  • Provide an informed POV, based on consumer insights, commercial brief, market trends and product results for the development of the product seasonal brief, identify gaps and eventually initiate local product development needs.
  • Own the results (assortment performance and productivity) and analyze product performance, sell in and sell-out to determine needs, in season actions and future opportunities. Based on weekly sell-out/ at-once performance, drive action plan in close collaboration with trading and commercial team and take the learnings to inform future assortment strategy for wholesale.
  • Manage Left to sell in collaboration with trading team, take in season actions to drive incremental business while reducing inventory risks, maximizing sell-through while protecting the Brand equity.
  • Drive the Execute with impact strategy in close collaboration with cross functional teams, wholesale merchants, planning & trading team, commercial, marketing and BX team.
  • Execute an effective Go-to-market strategy in line with Global guidelines by category, style, color, price and flow. Assort efficiently with right seasonal & Monthly flow, ensuring buy now wear now strategy maximizing sell-out and sell-through at full price.
  • Ensure creation and maintenance of line plans and Bcom catalogues, range plans, directive assortment, PLM, systems and tools management in collaboration with Merch ops and pricing / analytics team.
  • Deliver the product strategies messaging at internal meetings, ensure an inspiring and consistent message that builds brand equity and strengthens Levi’s® position in the market.
  • Be curious, challenge the status quo and explore new opportunities that can create significant impact on whls business, helping to engage with fans and attract new ones.
  • Build effective product strategies that can support the SBP, support the Tops growth beyond graphic tees and fleece and contribute gaining market share in tops while strengthening our Denim leadership and driving a true lifestyle approach.
  • Represent the LS&Co values and Merchandising signature behaviors, demonstrate Courage, Empathy and resilience, especially when faced with challenges.

We are looking for someone for 6 months - ideal start date : November 2024
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years Merchandising experience required.
  • Excellent knowledge of merchandising in apparel, market expertise, Retail KPI’s, price and margin targets.
  • Knowledge in stories layouts, options management, VM/ BX to maximize in store execution.
  • Developed sense of fashion and apparel taste, understanding different consumers targets.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills- includes influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates high degree of flexibility and initiative with minimal direction.
  • English is a must, other languages skills are a plus.
  • Travel of approx. 10-20%
Education & experience:
  • Master degree in Business administration, Economics or fashion with fashion/ textile experience.
  • Desire to work for a world class merchandising team.
  • A curious mind, passion to learn, team player and a love of product.
  • Proficiency with MS office applications (Word, Powerpoint &Excel) and analytical tools ( Power Bi, Tableau…)

  • Financial Acumen – skilled at the key financial levers and performance measures to maximize revenue, profitability, volume, sell through and brand equity through market right product assortments
  • Functional leadership – leads Go-To-Market process through superior cross functional communication, influencing and collaboration across multiple functions and channels of distribution
  • Demonstrates strong understanding, alignment with the Brand Value Proposition (BVP) and possesses a natural brand compassion.
