Your Daily Job
- Lead and Innovate: Take charge of designing and contracting high-voltage electrical connections for a wide range of power plants (thermal, hydro, wind, and storage).
- Project Leadership: Spearhead investment projects related to high-voltage equipment, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Operational Support: Collaborate closely with power asset owners to provide expert advice on maintenance, incident resolution, and sharing best practices.
- Master the Grid: Become an authority on the Elia grid code, ENTSO-e standards, and Synergrid regulations, ensuring compliance and smooth operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including TSO (Elia), distribution operators (Fluvius, ORES, Résa), and other industry leaders.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of electrical engineers, guiding them through complex projects and fostering their professional growth.
- High-Voltage: Act as Luminus’ principal high-voltage expert, representing the company in discussions with authorities, clients, and suppliers.
- Knowledge Sharing: Develop and expand Luminus’ expertise in high-voltage systems and contribute to the EDF group’s synergy by sharing knowledge and experience.
What You Bring to the Team
- Advanced Expertise: You hold a Master’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering (a Ph D in High-Voltage electricity is a plus).
- Deep Technical Knowledge: Experience in wind turbines / hydro turbines,/ PV plants / battery storage, or gas turbines being highly desirable.
- Proven Track Record: With over 5 years of hands-on experience in high-voltage electrical connections and equipment engineering or maintenance, you are ready to tackle complex challenges.
- Project Management Pro: You're experienced in managing large-scale projects, from conception to execution, ensuring they are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Leadership Skills: You have a knack for leading teams and driving results, combined with excellent communication skills to engage with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Languages & Mobility: Fluent in Dutch or French, with a professional level of English, and a valid driver’s license to stay mobile across projects.
